Due to conflicting information from UMAX, NewerRAM is recommending the use of 5 volt (not 3.3 volt) EDO (extended data out) memory.  UMAX‚Äôs website says either FPM (fast paged mode) or EDO will work.  Some of their  manuals say only EDO will work.  There is no technical reason for us to recommend EDO.  The recommendation is made simply because Technical Support was getting too many calls from people convinced that they had been sent the wrong memory when they received FPM DIMMs.
